Exotics CB PROs Wedge

Tour Edge Exotics CB PROs Wedge (2014). The Exotics CB PROs wedge series are forged from 1025 carbon steel and feature precision-milled grooves which are layered with 28 micro-grooves to provide maximum face roughness for increased control. The wedge also features a tour-grind beveled sole to increase versatility and the bounce has been eliminated from the heel and toe to allow the face to be easily opened or closed promoting a variety of shot-making options. We tested the 56 degree model and liked the heavy feel of the head. We measured its swingweight to be in the D5 range. The grooves provided excellent spin especially on flop shots. For reference we were testing using a Srixon Z-Star XV golf ball. We found the wedge to provide consistent performance enabling us to quickly dial in distances. The feel was soft at impact with a nice click sound on full shots. We liked this wedge so much that it was immediately placed in the bag.
