Need to Know: Boccieri Golf partners with Jack Nicklaus to launch the Secret Grip; the grip’s heavier weight raises the club’s balance point, promoting consistent crisp contact for greater control and distance; this is achieved via a tungsten weight in the butt-end, combined with a compound that’s 40-percent heavier than what’s used in standard conventional grips; the grip’s total length is one-inch longer than standard, allowing players to grip-down for improved play around the green or on uneven lies; a built-up lower section of the grip removes the need for additional grip tape wrapping; currently available, the Secret Grip v2 retails for $16.99 each.
