Manufacturer's Description:
Tocare Golf Grips, pronounced Toe-Carr-eh and inspired by the Italian word for touch, were formally presented to the media, retailers, and other golf equipment manufacturers during the PGA Merchandise Show in January 2007. They feature technology never before seen in its respective golf category. "The new Tocare T2 Grip contains a patent-pending, diamond-shaped internal pattern called VDP Technology™, Vibration Diffusion Pattern. This technology literally reduces the amount of pulsation that occurs at impact.

Tocare Grips are engineered with both an internal and external component. The Tocare Tour also known as the T2, features internal VDP Technology™. Whether it is a putter, driver or iron, T2's VDP Technology™ diffuses the vibration produced from the impact of the ball and club head, generating a crisper feel while eliminating excess shock in your hands and joints. The concept is similar to the technology utilized in movie theatres where High Tech diffusion patterns help absorb sound frequencies to perfect the level of intensity.

The external component that distinguishes the Tocare Golf Grip line is its Multi-Durometer construction; durometer being the firmness measurement for golf grips. This Multi-Durometer construction is designed to assist golfers in forming the correct grip for a better swing. A higher durometer is featured at the top and a lower durometer is used at the bottom. This composition diminishes or reduces overall grip pressure to generate higher swing speeds.

To maximize the ultimate in touch and feel, the T2 Grip is engineered with a proprietary Multi-Compound makeup. These highly specialized materials provide optimum tackiness, and enhanced feel. Tocare also performs extremely well in all types of weather conditions.

Tocare Grips are manufactured by Excel Golf Products, Inc. of Itasca, IL. a company that ventured beyond the wooden tee business and invested in a biodegradable, three-pronged, Zero Friction Golf Tee and to its credit has experienced over 27 professional tour victories and over 165 Top-10 finishes.

Tocare Grips Review:

The Tocare grips are innovative in design and of high quality. Sometimes we read about a product and much of what is said about it can't be readily felt or seen. With the Tocare grips, you get exactly what is promised. Without even putting them on a club you can feel the firmness of the top portion of the grip and how soft the portion closer to the clubhead is promoting a more natural and pressure correct grip. Ideally a correct grip should be lighter in the bottom hand and firmer at the top. Once the Tocare grips are installed on a club, the feel is even more pronounced.

The Vibration Diffusion Pattern (VDP) technology also is very evident from the first time a golf ball is hit with the Tocare grips. The feel at the hands is incredible on well struck as well as off center hits. The Tocare grips make an excellent choice for any golfer but we feel it would be good especially for those golfers with arthritic or joint problems because of their vibration dampening properties. The other major advantage is how easy they are on the hands as far as wear and tear. Our staff have played the Lamkin Crossline grips for years. The only issue we have with these grips is that they really can wear your hands out during the fall and winter months when dry skin is a problem. With the Tocare grips, we noticed this isn't a problem at all as they grip wonderfully in all weather conditions.

The Tocare grips come in a variety of colors including black, red, blue, gray, yellow and pink. Standard, putter, mid-size, and undersize/women's grips are offered as well. We give the Tocare grips high marks for its innovative design, looks, and overall feel and performance.
