Adams Redline Driver Review:

Accuracy

Less-Avg-More

The TR-1 Classic driver is very accurate. We noticed that on toe or heel shots the ball went offline as expected but not as much as other drivers within this category.
Distance

Short-Avg-Long

The overall distance was similar to our comparison drivers, even a little longer than the Titleist 975 LFE used by one of our reviewers. The ball comes off the face with a very distinct high pitched sound, one that really breeds confidence. In addition, we felt that the ball jumps off the face with ample roll for a 10 degree model.
Trajectory

Low-Avg-High

The TR-1 Classic 10 degree model produced a lower than average trajectory. We were told that the lofts play "true" so we probably could have gone with a degree higher model. We were able to dial in the trajectory by adjusting the tee height which is necessary with most of today's deep face drivers.
Feel

Less-Avg-More

Very good feedback on well struck shots as well as those hit towards the heel or toe. We could easily tell if and when we missed it a little but still received nice feedback to the hands for a large headed driver.

Forgiveness

Less-Avg-More

The driver is very forgiving. Shots hit off the toe produced nice results with minimal distance loss. The driver is easy to swing and nice smooth tempos are rewarded with long, straight drives.

Looks
Stunning! Arguably, the best looking driver on the market today. The shiny black finish and "Traditional" script writing on the crown are very elegant and pleasing to look at in address. The shape of the head and sole design are a throwback to the days of persimmon drivers. The head is large at 380cc with a deep face. The shaft has a black matte finish with no graphics; only a tasteful band with shaft flex and classy oak leaf Traditional logo. More manufacturers should take note of the clean lines and look of this driver. The headcover is a Traditional Golf model by AM&E Golf in solid black with the Traditional logo and script. The TR-1 Classic 380cc driver has a face depth of 2.15" while the 350cc model is 2.10" and the 320cc model is 2.05".

Summary:
The Traditional TR-1 Classic driver stands alone in the driver category as the only driver which golfers can customize nearly every aspect of the head design as well as choosing stamping and alignment aid options. Working with Mark Inoue and Traditional Golf offers golfers an experience that is usually reserved for tour professionals. The quality and appearance of the driver are unequaled by any driver on the market today. On the course, the TR-1 Classic driver receives high marks for accuracy and forgiveness. The price is higher than most of the leading drivers available, but the unprecedented custom options make the price worth it providing an original driver that meets your exact specifications. The TR-1 Classic driver by Traditional Golf will appeal to those golfers that are looking for a high quality solid performing driver that provides above average forgiveness and offers a truly unique experience in driver selection and customization.
