Ping TiSI Review:

Accuracy

Less-Avg-More

Better than average accuracy. Very straight and consistent especially when using a "swing easy" approach.
Distance

Short-Avg-Long

Longer than average. Among the longer drivers reviewed. PGA Tour professionals claimed additional 15-20 yards off the tee when this driver was first introduced. Did not see this kind of distance increase over the 975D, although the Ping was longer (5-10 yards) on smooth swings.
Trajectory

Low-Avg-High

Higher than average trajectory even with the 8.5 degree loft. Tendency to balloon on some shots.
Feel

Less-Avg-More

Not much feedback on off center hits. Very loud and hollow sound when hit. Very light.

Forgiveness

Less-Avg-More

Very forgiving. Minimal distance loss on slightly off center hits. Decent distance with extreme heel and toe hits.

Looks
Huge deepfaced head (volume is 323cc); Dark gray high gloss finish with ISI star on silver face and "K" alignment aid on crown; Multiple custom fit options available with JX plastic hosel: lie - 4 degrees upright, standard, or 2 degrees flat; hosel position - draw enhancing, straight, or fade enhancing; inverted "PING" name on toe end of club similar to past Ping woods.

Summary:
The Ping TiSI driver is among the longest and most forgiving drivers available today. The all around performance of this driver will appeal to golfers of all hadnicaps. The custom fit hosel feature of this driver is unique among competing manufacturers and puts Ping out front of the pack. We highly recommend going through an autorized Ping fitting center in order to get the correct hosel configuration and shaft.
