Dunlop Loco driver Review:

Accuracy

Less-Avg-More

We found that the driver was very accurate. The ball seemed to come off the face with reduced spin permitting good control with a smooth swing. With the massive head size, we found that we wanted to swing harder than normal. This is the only instance where accuracy became an issue as is the case with overswinging regardless of the driver.
Distance

Short-Avg-Long

The golf ball definitely comes off the face hot. We found that the LoCo driver easily went as far as our comparison Titleist drivers.
Trajectory

Low-Avg-High

Once we determined the effects of tee height on trajectory, we found that we could optimize the trajectory desired. Teeing it low provides a boring flight whereas teeing it high allowed a longer carry with minimal roll. We also found that feedback to the hands were similar regardless of tee height.
Feel

Less-Avg-More

The sound at impact has a nice click to it and is one that breeds confidence when struck well. Even with the larger head, we found that we could easily tell whether or not we had hit the ball pure or not. On off-center hits, we felt that the head seems to mask the feel of a slight miss. Often times, we could only tell by the resulting shot exhibiting slight distance loss.

Forgiveness

Less-Avg-More

This is a very forgiving driver. The 450cc head provides plenty of room to handle off-center hits. As previously mentioned, we found that these off-center hits resulted in some distance loss as well as caused directional issues.

Looks
The LoCo is not for the faint of heart. It is bright and loud. The combination of the head, shaft and grip make this a driver that will get attention on the course and at the range. The driver is a few degrees closed as is most drivers of this size on the markey today. The head is an "orient blue" look with a smallish checkerboard pattern to it that is striking especially on bright sunny days.

Summary:
The LoCo driver is definitely targeted toward the hipper, value-minded golfer. The first thing that you notice is the bright yellow shaft and the massive deep blue head. Stepping up to the tee the LoCo instills a feeling of confidence that you cannot miss with this driver. The driver's performance is above average in distance and forgiveness. The head felt solid at impact on dead-center shots. Shots slightly off the heel and toe were hard to distinguish due to the large head size. The LoCo driver by Dunlop will appeal to those golfers that are looking for an extremely affordable name-brand driver with bright colors that will stand out in the crowd.
