Callaway Great Big Bertha Review
Accuracy
More; the Callaway seemed to be easier to work
the ball with than many other drivers that I have hit. It gives one the
ability to swing with confidence. A very accurate driver.
Distance
Long; this is by far the longest driver I have
ever hit, a miss hit goes further than drives I have struck solid with
my Harvey Penick Ti driver. A truly long driver.
Trajectory. Average; the ball flight is bullet-like,
boring its way through the air, like fired from the barrel of high powered
rifle, very impressive trajectory.
Feel
Less; at impact, feel is nearly improbable, a
solid well hit drive leaves the clubface with no vibration in the hands
as if one were taking a practice swing.
Forgiveness
More; a dead center hit is highly rewarded, but
in my experiences even off center hits seem to find their way to the
target missing by just a few yards. Very forgiving.
Looks
I have consistently hit more fairways and longer
drives with this driver. I feel this club will be a great addition
to anyone's game, providing that they can still find one. Check out
the internet auction sites and used club shops for this driver. I have
several low handicap friends that play one, including a 50 year old
friend who admits he hits longer and more fairways with this driver.
I have knocked off 4 to 5 strokes per round with this club just by
keeping it in play.
Good luck and most of all have fun with this driver.
