Accuracy |
I found it to be more
accurate than most drivers because the shaft is 1" shorter
than most at 44". Easy to find the sweet spot which
is fairly large. Toe and heel shots lose some distance
but not much in terms of direction. |
Distance |
Good but not spectacular
distance. Average carry and roll is 275 yds. Cleveland
Tour Action Titanium was 20 yards longer but only half
as accurate. |
Trajectory |
Easy to hit medium trajectory
draws. This club plays about 1.5° - 2° lower than
most. |
Feel |
Flush shots feel good and are accompanied
by a solid "thwack" as opposed to the "ping" sound
of titanium. Toe and heel shots shock slightly to let you
know that you missed.

Forgiveness |
Club is fairly forgiving. Toe and heel
shot tend to fly straight. Still have to square the club
face to avoid side spin.
Looks |
The deep copper color has a classy rich look.
Club sets up nicely behind the ball with a sightly closed
face. Dark brown bubble shaft accentuates the clubhead. Much
more pleasing to the eye than recent Taylor Made products.
At 240 cc's only slightly oversized. |
Summary:
This driver is for a
strong player that has a solid swing. Responds well to the grip
it and rip it method. Since it is not the longest driver out there
it is for the person that will take accuracy over distance.
