Accuracy |
This club was fairly
accurate. Shots hit off center would be penalized on distance.
Center hits produced consistent results. |
Distance |
This club does not produce
much distance, primarily attributable to the loft. 10.5
degree loft is currently only loft available. |
Trajectory |
This club produces a
high ball flight, and at times, a "ballooning" effect. |
Feel |
This club was on the light side. Not much
feel produced by the clubhead.
Forgiveness |
Not very forgiving on mis-center hits. Considerable
distance loss on shots hit off of the toe.
Looks |
Titanium head with a volume of 210 cc, pear-shaped,
gray metalflake finish, traditional in appearance, Harvey
Penick signature as alignment aid. |
Summary:
The Golfsmith Harvey
Penick Titanium driver is one of many component drivers avialable.
This was one of the first titanium drivers prior to the large oversize
heads. The driver has traditional good looks but was not very forgiving
on all but the best of swings. More information on Golfsmith and
their entire product lineup can be found on their website at www.golfsmith.com.
