Summary:
|
This is a wonderfully told and hilarious story of a fictitious
big time golf hustler,
Eddie Caminetti, and PGA Professional, Al Bellamy. After Caminetti
takes some of Bellamy's cash and
other PGA players on
tour don't want the pressure of competing in a Ryder Cup, Bellamy
goes after Caminetti for a spot on the
12 man roster and succeeds.
In the book you'll come across characters that remind you of
some of today's PGA stars like Tiger Woods
and John Daly.
The author
uses Caminetti
to teach the reader course management and match
play strategy.
You can really learn alot from reading this book that you can
apply to your
own game
and succeed.
I love Ryder Cup competition so it was very hard for me to put
down.
The only complaint about
the book is the
excessive cursing that
is used throughout. Not sure why the author put
so much in there
but other than that is
a fantastic read. Hold on to your seats
at the end!
