Golf:  How Good Do You Want to Be?

Information:
Author: Bill Kroen, Ph.D.
Category: Instruction
Target Audience: All golfers

Summary:

Dr. Bill Kroen previously brought us the best-selling Golf Tip-a-Day Calendar which has sold more than one million copies since it was first published. Kroen, a licensed psychotherapist and golfer, recently has authored a new book called Golf: How Good Do You Want to Be? With this book, Kroen draws on his psychology background to help golfers improve in every aspect of their game, from the physical swing to the mental approach to practice to scoring. The book addresses the key relationship between the body and the mind and what is needed to allow golfers to improve in an efficient manner. Kroen has an extensive golf background having played collegiate golf at Salem State College and serving as a teaching professionally since 1986.

Kroen does an excellent job of connecting the physical golf swing with the mental approach and preparing the right mindset for golfers to excel to the next level of play. The chapters address Mind-Body Connection, Steps to Success, The Art of Practice, Thinking on the Course, Scoring Well, Golf Wellness, How Good to You Want to Be?, and finally a glossary of terms.

We recommend this book for “thinking” golfers that are serious about improving and are looking for a comprehensive approach to reaching their full potential.
