We found the overall quality of Fairway and Greene apparel to be excellent. The Fairway and Greene items are made abroad but there is consistency in the sizing across the apparel line. The company does not use any self promoting embroidery on their garments. This provides a clean appearance across the entire line and lets the garments quality speak for itself.

Feel (light, heavy, soft)

The Fairway and Greene golf shirts have a light and silky feel to them. The shirts are soft and smooth while providing a sophisticated and elegant dressed-up look. The shirts are made from Pima cotton, a high quality cotton, known for its soft feel and brilliant luster.

Price (value, worth)

Fairway and Greene represents the upper end of style and quality in golf apparel. The quality does not come without a high price tag though. Fairway and Greene golf shirts range from $70-$80 and are available exclusively at green grass shops nation wide. Those golfers looking for a classic style with function need to look no further than Fairway and Greene. The price of the apparel reflects the quality of the goods.

Wearability (fade,shrinkage,durability)

The Fairway and Greene apparel wears well both on and off the course. We found the apparel to be durable and resistive to fading and shrinkage washing them without particular care. The golf shirts are built to last and maintain their silky appearance over time.

Summary:
Everything about Fairway and Greene is first class from their presentation to their selection of fabrics to their people. We enjoyed wearing these clothes as much off the course as we did on the course. The golf shirts offer a simple clean look that is as traditional and classic as the game itself. We particularly liked the comfort and styling of the button down Club Shirt often receiving complimentary comments on it. Earlier this year Fairway and Greene was selected to outfit U.S. Captain Hal Sutton and the 2004 U.S. Ryder Cup team. We anticipate this year's Ryder Cup event and expect the good guys to never have looked better. With an increased tour presence and continued success in green grass shops across the country, look for Fairway and Greene to move to the top of the high end apparel companies.
