Review: Bushnell continues to expand its ever popular line of rangefinders with its first vertically held unit, the Tour V2 with Pinseeker rangefinder. We have tested both the Pinseeker 1500 as well as the Medalist rangefinders and found that the Tour V2 is by far the easiest to use of the three with it's compact size, light weight and vertical orientation. The range of the Tour V2 rivals that of the Pinseeker 1500 and Medalist models with the ability to shoot a reflective surface from 1,000 yards, trees at 600 yards and flags at 300 yards with accuracy to plus or minus one yard. The Tour V2 offers the Scan mode for targting objects within the field of view as well as the Pinseeker mode for easy acquisition of the flagstick.

We found the ergonomics of the Tour V2 rangefinder to be excellent with soft padding at each touch point. The carrying case is perfect for on-course use attaching easily to a golf bag with a zipper enclosure that has a drop down magnetized flap. This makes it much easier to pull in and out of the case while keeping it secure. We have found that this what most golfers like to do when playing so as not to leave it behind in the cart or on the course. As we've stated in other reviews, the laser rangefinder is ideal because it can be pulled out of the box and immediately put into play. There is nothing to download and a reflective device is not required on anything that you want to get the yardage to. Plus, it can work on any course in the world with a setting on the display that can be set to meters or yards.
