| Accuracy |
The minimal offset makes these irons easy to
set up sqaure to the ball. Good swings result
in very consistent and accurate results. Mis-hits
are penalized more in distance than direction. |
| Distance |
Better
than average. These irons are 1/2 club
longer than current set (Ping Eye2+)
on ball hit flush. Off-center hits result
in 1 club shorter shots. Very consistent
distances.

| Trajectory |
Not too high but not too low. A nice boring
ball flight. |
| Feel |
In one word, SOLID. These
irons provide excellent feedback on off
center hits. Progressive weight cavity
makes these irons feel like muscle back
blades.
| Forgiveness |
Not very forgiving on
off center hits. Slightly more forgiving
than the DCI 962.
| Looks |
| Very traditional with clean
lines; 431 stainless steel; arguably the
best looking model in the DCI family; thin
topline, minimal offset, and "v" grooves;
classy, tasteful graphics with "Titleist" script,
small DCI logo and "990" in the
cavity; minimal cavity near the sole of
the club. |
