Thomas At-602 irons 3-PW, 5-iron 37" length, True Temper Dynamic Golf Sensicore R300 steel shaft, and Thomas Golf wrap–style grip.

Manufacturer's Description
The Thomas AT-602 irons feature their patented aim and alignment technology. The technology is designed to increase accuracy by use of an alignment system on the topline of the club head. The irons are a player’s cavity back design with a smaller head and concentrated mass. The design has minimal offset of 1.5mm and the compact head is cast from soft 304 stainless steel. The standard shaft offerings for the AT-602 irons are the True Temper Dynamic Gold Sensicore, TT Lite XL steel shafts, and Thomas graphite shafts. Internet pricing for the irons is $472 for 3-PW in Sensicore steel and Thomas graphite and $408 for 3-PW in TT Lite XL. Matching gap, sand, and lob wedges are also available.

Thomas AT-602:

Accuracy

Less-Avg-More

We found the AT-602 irons to be very accurate. The combination of smaller clubhead and short alignment aid on the topline ensures that you focus and ultimately make better swings. The alignment aid took some getting use to but it really helps in aligning the clubface to the target line.
Distance

Short-Avg-Long

The distance of the AT-602 irons were found to be similar to our existing sets. They play very blade-like in terms of distance. One reviewer noted that they were slightly shorter than his current set of muscleback blades.
Trajectory

Low-Avg-High

Overall, the trajectory of these irons was a little lower than our current sets. We found that this featured served us well in windy conditions. We were able to control the ball flight fairly easily with these the AT-602 irons.
Feel

Less-Avg-More

The AT-602 irons produced a soft and solid feel on well struck shots. It was not quite a "forged" feel, but soft nonetheless. We could easily tell when we hit the clubs off center, with instant feedback to the hands that we missed the sweet spot.

Forgiveness

Less-Avg-More

The AT-602 irons were above average in forgiveness. They were definitely more forgiving than most blades that we have played. The clubhead offers a deeper cavity than most "players" cavity back models.

Looks
The AT-602 irons have a very compact head design. The head is much smaller than we see on many of today’s designs. The flattened top line where the alignment aid is located makes these irons look quite a bit different than other irons targeted at low handicap golfers. This might be a bit of a distraction to golfers that are traditionalists. It takes some time to get used to but the more that you play with them the benefit of the alignment aid overshadows the different look. The AT-602 irons have a brilliant mirror finish that, after a few rounds, showed scratches and dings. We recommend using iron head covers with these soft 304 stainless steel heads.

Summary:
The AT-602 irons from Thomas Golf are targeted toward low handicap golfers that are consistent ball strikers. The irons produce a soft feel at impact and are more forgiving than many low handicap designs. The patented alignment technology and small head makes these irons very accurate. These irons should appeal to low handicap golfers that are looking for an alternative to forged irons at a very affordable price.
