| Accuracy |
Shots struck on the center
of the clubface fly straight. If you
hit a draw or fade, it will be lessened
by this iron. The short irons (8,9, PW,
SW) are very accurate and easy to hit
straight. |
| Distance |
Average.
The lofts of these irons are more traditional
(27.5* - 5I) and the distance produced
was consistent, even on slight mishits.
| Trajectory |
These irons produce a
high shot, particularly with the mid
(5,6 ) and short irons (8,9, PW, SW).
Short irons are excellent for approach
shots requiring the ball to be dropped
on the green. |
| Feel |
These irons with standard
Ping "wrap" (51 grams) grips
are swingweighted at C9, so they are
a little on the light side. The lighter
head, however does not prevent these
irons from feeling very solid at impact.
| Forgiveness |
These irons provide more
than average forgiveness on off-center
hits on the clubface. Minimal distance
lost on slight heel and toe hits.
