Callaway Great Big Bertha Review
Accuracy
More; straight, straight, straight. The directional
control is great, straight but still able to fade and draw at will.

Distance
Long; 10 yards longer than the Ping ISI's. It
has to be the steel graphite composite shaft. The Adams Tight Lies
GT Tour heads are weaker by 1.5 degrees in loft as compared to the
Pings. Maybe being able to hit the center of the adams more often helps
too.

Trajectory
Average; good medium trajectory and easy to knock
down. Lower than the Ping ISIs.

Feel
More; the feel is great because I can hit the
center 99.9 percent of the time. Better feel that the Ping ISIs.

Forgiveness
Average; While it is hard to hit these clubs
off center, it you hit the toe you know it, but that's what I want:
instant feedback.

Looks
The Adams Tight Lies GT Tour irons would not
win a beauty contest, espcially when compared to its competitors (i.e.
Hogan Apex Plus, etc.), but it sure hits the ball better, and I like
the dull finish. The irons feature a blade-like set up with a minimal
amount of off-set.

Summary
The Adams Tight Lies GT Tour irons are geared toward the single digit player
looking for a good blade type iron with some forgivness. I hear the standard
GTs are fantastic clubs too, for higher handicaps.
