Equipment Testing Center

New to the Show this year is the Equipment Testing Center. The ETC is a massive 90,000 square foot indoor range on the Show floor featuring 45 hitting bays staffed by equipment manufacturers during regular Show hours allowing attendees to test the latest equipment. Many of the manufacturers are utilizing launch monitors in their hitting bays providing quantitative feedback to attendees. The synthetic turf for the ETC was provided by Players Turf International.

Burrows Golf

Burrows Golf has jumped into the putter and wedge categories at the Show and also introduced their new 420cc MAC Powersphere driver. The MAC Tour Bounce wedge features a tungsten and copper insert that softens impact and allows the ball to stay on the face longer. The MAC putter features a unique alignment-focused design with tungsten inserts in the face for added weight to improve feel and roll.

The Custom series features three offerings targeting specific swing speeds.

Precept Golf

Precept Golf introduced a new set of irons at the Show. The Tour Premium EC603 Pro Spec irons feature a thin top line and blade appearance. The irons also feature an elastomer compound insert in each iron. Material was removed from the inner cavity and replaced with elastomer compound, which absorbs vibration and increases feel. The tungsten weighting serves a dual purpose of improving spin and launch conditions and stabilizing the overall weight of the club. Also presented was their Tour Premium 320 LS Moon Sole driver.

Srixon Sports comes to the Show with plenty of momentum with Fuzzy Zoeller capturing the Mastercard Championship playing the Srixon UR-X golf ball and I-302 irons. The I-302 irons are a forged cavity back design with a clean, blade-like appearance offering solid feel and forgiveness. The W-302 driver is a new driver featuring a 380cc head design and an internal weighting scheme that is optimized for the faster swinger with high MOI and better head stability through impact. Also presented was a new forged iron called the Pro-100, the XXIO irons, and a new value-priced golf ball called the AD333.
