Tour Edge @ the 2002 Expo
Tour Edge Golf unveiled their latest driver offerings , the Bazooka 350 Ji and the Hyper Steel 300. The Bazooka 350Ji is the latest in Tour Edge's J-Series driver line and features a COR rating near the .86 limit proposed by the USGA and R&A. The 350 cc driver has a large sweet spot created by a thin "Power" rim that runs along the outside edges of the face. Added is a super thin Beta Titanium face that undergoes a cold forging process said to produce a tighter molecular structure and stronger face. The Hyper Steel 300 features a high-COR 300 cc head with internal web-like construction and large deep face for maximum strength and size in a steel design. Also presented were the T-Balance 02 Belly and Long putters featuring a heavier head and redistributed weight to accomodate the longer shaft lengths.
