Burrows Golf introduced a new line of drivers and fairway woods called the MAC Powersphere. MAC stands for Magnitude Amplification Cavity and is the technology behind the new woods. The Powersphere is a dome-shaped cavity in the sole of the club that redirects shock waves from impact back toward the clubface. The concept is based on simple physics results is increased forgiveness on off-center shots and maximum energy transfer to the ball also promising greater distance. The Powersphere also assists in dampening the vibration at impact. Also introduced was their MAC Quick-Fit and Quick-Grip System, and innovative driver fitting system that allows professionals to custom fit golfers with choice of loft, face angle, type of shaft, length, grip. A splined coupling mechanisom enables clubheads and grips to changes quickly. The drivers have a suggested retail price of $399 and the fairway woods are set at $199.
