Spalding Sports Worldwide announced a multi-year agreement with Bob Bettinardi to produce Ben Hogan by Bettinardi putters. The inital line will feature 4 models: the Big Ben putter featuring a unique alignment design and five point sole; the X Series putters with aproprietary new metal known as "X"; the X-A Series putters with "X" material and aluminum insert; and the CC Series featuring a carbon steel body and gold plated copper insert. Under the agreement Bettinardi will continue to market putters in Japan under his company name.

De La Cruz Golf introduced the CP putter. The CP is a 100 percent milled titanium putter with Wolfram 90 face insert. The combination of the putter's lightweight body and extremely dense insert places a very large concetration of mass right on the ball regardless of where the ball hits on the shiny insert.

Bridgestone introduced the TourStage line of equipment, including irons, drivers, fairway woods, and wedges. The Z101 irons are forged from soft carbon steel with a progressive weighting system. The long irons feature tungsten inserts in the trailing edge to lower the center of gravity aiding in getting the ball in the air. The short irons feature a high center of gravity providing control on approach shots. The irons also feature progressive cavity depths throughout the set enabling for added forgiveness in the long irons and increased feel in the short irons. The Z350 (shown) and Z375 drivers feature a three-piece titanium body and a forged titanium clubface. An adjustable tungsten weight screw in the trailing edge of the club and a unique sole design provides, as TourStage indicates, and ideal center of gravity and balance. The Z350 is targeted to the golfer looking to combine distance and control and the Z375 is targeted to the golfer looking for more directional stability and ease in getting the ball airborne.

Traditional Golf introduced the TR-1 Classic driver featuring 100 percent contruction of SP-700 forged titanium. The drivers are made one at a time allowing custom specifications including loft, lie, bulge, roll, size, face angle, sole design, and length. Also introduced are the Traditional wedges featuring milled faces and forged from a material that is 60 percent copper and 40 percent zinc.
