E2G: Tell me about your company … what do you do?
Wayne J. Bosley: BozGolf is a family specialist golf consultancy established in 1980 by my father Bill Bosley, who had worked with the leading golf brands in Australasia from 1960 - 1979. These brands included Dunlop-Slazenger / Ram / PGF International / Keith
Knox / Etonic and Penfolds and his responsibility was for sales / marketing and leadership ( elite player promotion) for these brands. It's interesting to note that his first managerial posting in 1963 was to replace Tom Crow (Cobra Golf founder) as the PGF Victorian sales manager when Tom first moved to the states to chase his dream.
In the period 1981 - 2000 we became the initial master distributor for the Acushnet Company in Australia and New Zealand mainly covering the Titleist and the new Pinnacle brand. Our role during this time was to build these brands from a very small initial base until Greg Norman took over in 2000.
We continued our relationship with the Acushnet Company for a further 4 years looking after and further developing the Australian / New Zealand
leadership program. The heavy travel schedule during this period meant I was spending more and more time away from my home and children.
As a consequence of this it was decided that we would return to our original core business of selling golf products, except this time it would be our ideas / concepts and brand. My father had been assessing a number of international companies that would be a good fit with our R&D requirements and production needs. We finally decided on the Fantom Golf Company of Korea as our strategic partner with whom we launched our joint Vision™ ball brand project in 2005
E2G: How did you get started in the golf industry?
Wayne J. Bosley: Our family has always played elite golf so it was natural that I began to play golf at a very early age. We were always around touring professionals and golf designers from the major brands so of course this progressed when I was old enough to start working during holidays with Dad.
E2G: What is your company’s current focus?
Wayne J. Bosley: To produce high performance game improvement golf products looking to make the
game more enjoyable and exciting for both existing and new players of all ages.
E2G: Do you specialize in a certain segment of the golf market?
Wayne J. Bosley: Vision ™ Golf Balls:
E2G: Describe your current product line?

| Vision™ | X-pert2 | Bright White With Gold Effect | Thin Twin Cover Multilayer | 312 Dimples |
| Vision™ | Big Number | UV Yellow | Twin Cover Multilayer | 312 Dimples |

E2G: What sets you apart from your competition?
Wayne J. Bosley: Our ongoing Test Pilot research work with club players here in Australia and overseas with regard to our UV Yellow colour has found that they all love it. The other major winner has been the Big Number format that is gaining supporters everyday because it makes it so much easier to see and identify their balls in play. These high tech game improvement models we are surprising new player's everyday.
E2G: What kind of technology do you have that sets you apart from your competition?
Wayne J. Bosley: Currently we are concentrating on our Multilayer designs incorporating the latest paint/cover and core technology. Plus continue my work to further refine and develop our US patented UV Yellow cover colour and processes.
E2G: What is the main way that golfers will benefit from your product?
Wayne J. Bosley: The excitement at being able to clearly see their UV Yellow ball in flight. The confidence this brings to their game, coupled with the exceptional feel/distance and durability at affordable prices.
E2G: What is one thing that you want golfers to know about your company and product line?
Wayne J. Bosley: That we are not new comers to the golf industry with a heritage that runs deep with our products being thoroughly tested and used by club players. We are talking to our ball users on a regular basis and this relationship gives
them confidence in what we are doing and where we are heading with our ball designs.
E2G: Where can golfers find your product?
Wayne J. Bosley: Mike Tait at SMT Golf is looking after the US market and we are expecting the balls to be more easily sourced by Spring 2008 otherwise directly from SMT works just fine.
E2G: Does your product help grow the game?
Wayne J. Bosley: Our UV ball is the best introductory ball ever. It trains new golfers to watch the ball and makes it easier for them to follow it in flight and see where it finishes. This speeds up play and gives both new and existing players the confidence to improve and build on their golfing experience.
E2G: How do you see the game being played in ten years?
Wayne J. Bosley: We see a great opportunity for golf to develop as a genuine family game with more 9 hole or genuine Pitch and Putt courses being made available. This will enable new and regular players that are increasingly time poor to play without rushing, and enjoy a better game of golf.
E2G: What are the biggest challenges the industry faces in the next ten years?
Wayne J. Bosley: From an Australian perspective where the average playing age is closer to 55 (possibly older in the States) and the inability as an industry to attract younger players (18-40) and keep them interested and playing regularly.
E2G: What is the single ingredient in your product that attracts the golfer?
Wayne J. Bosley: The bright UV Yellow colour is different and exciting and is a game improver for both new and existing players. Look at what bright yellow coloured balls have done for tennis since their introduction in the 1970's.
E2G: Do the tours help or hurt everyday amateur players?
Wayne J. Bosley: The marketing of equipment as used by Touring Pro's confuses the average player as to what products they should be using to both enjoy and improve their game.
E2G: Parting thoughts?
Wayne J. Bosley: We strongly believe "The ball you play makes all the difference to how you play!" Fitting golf balls to players and giving them simple straight forward practical Information in a language they can understand is one of the most important
ways to improve their overall game.
